Fall Pictorial

According to the weather wizards, Boise is expecting night-time temps in the 20-degree range tonight.  Everyone in the neighborhood is blowing out their sprinklers for the season, and getting their vegetable gardens draped for the hard freeze that is expected.  Yesterday, we hit 67 degrees here in Boise, but today our high temperatures are ten degrees colder, and dropping.

We’ve already seen peak color here, and many trees are already bare, but there’s still good color left, so as the dogs and I walked around town on our afternoon walk, I brought my camera and snapped the last of the fall colors.  In a week they’ll all be gone, but for now, it’s a gorgeous time of year.
Boise is considered high desert country, but we do get pretty terrific fall colors.

Hope your fall is inspiring, wherever you may be.
